A few good questions
Where do my photos get uploaded?+
They don’t get uploaded to us. Browsing and tidying happen locally on your Mac. Apple supplies iCloud content; activation and update checks contact their respective services.
Does deleting affect iCloud?+
Deleting from your Photos library syncs to iCloud and other devices using that library. Local files move to Trash. Changes to iCloud Drive files also sync. Review before confirming.
Can I use Drift offline?+
The trial works offline. Your first license activation needs an internet connection; afterwards you can browse offline. Drift periodically validates your license when online.
How do I move to another Mac?+
Deactivate the old Mac in Drift → License, then activate the new one with the same key. Each license allows two personal Macs at a time.
What about the Mac App Store version?+
The browsing features are shared. The website build has a trial, license keys, and in-app updates. Apple manages purchases and updates for the App Store build, which is not yet listed.
